Natalia Anciso (B.A., Studio Art, 2008) has been selected to show work in INTO ACTION, a pop-up group exhibition, Jan. 13 - 21, in Los Angeles.

Kathryn St. Clair (B.F.A., Studio Art, 1993) has been selected to show work in "Color Emotion," an upcoming group exhibition, Jan. 12 - Feb. 23, that examines the relationship between color and emotion.

Isaac Gomez's (B.A. in Theatre and Dance, 2013) one-woman show The Way She Spoke: A Docu-Mythology, starring Karen Rodriguez (B.A. in Theatre and Dance, 2013) and directed by Rudy Ramirez (M.A. 2012), runs January 11-20 at Austin's Vortex.

Reisman (M.F.A. in Playwriting, 2013) shares the top prize with fellow playwright Angela Hanks, and will receive two years of developmental support for her work in addition to a monetary award.

Jonas Criscoe (B.F.A., Studio Art, 2006) is presenting work in “Call & Respond,” a two-person exhibition at ICOSA Collective in Austin, TX, Jan 13 - Feb 3.

Veronica Boccardo (B.F.A., Dance, 2017) performed with the Allegro Ballet of Houston Academy under the direction of Glenda and Vanessa Brown for the 16th performance of The Nutcracker, December 16-17th, 2017. Boccardo currently serves as pre-ballet and ballet 1 instructor for the Academy.

Felicia Fitzpatrick (B.A. in Theatre and Dance, 2014) has completed the first season of “Call & Response,” a podcast that explores the intersection between blackness and performing arts through interviews with Broadway actors, dancers, writers, creatives, and more.

Leah Dyjak (M.F.A., Studio Art, 2015) has accepted a position as Assistant Professor of Video and Photography at Winthrop University in Rock Hill, South Carolina. Dyjak’s work combines performance, labor, film and photography, and is represented by the Schoolhouse Gallery in Provincetown, MA.      

Alton DuLaney (B.F.A., Studio Art, 1995) will demonstrate holiday gift wrapping skills on Dec. 18 on "The Rachael Ray Show" and Dec. 21 on Harry Connick Jr.'s show, "Harry." DuLaney was also just elected to City Council in his hometown of Splendora, Texas.

Roja Najafi (Ph.D., Art History, 2016) was announced curator of the Oklahoma City Museum of Art. She will curate the spring exhibition, The New Art: A Controversial Collection 50 Years Later.
