Gay Gaddis (B.F.A., Studio Art, 1977) appointed to Chancellor’s Council Executive Committee

T3 founder, author, artist and trailblazer Gay Gaddis has been appointed to the Chancellor’s Council Executive Committee (CCEC), an organization serving as a strategic advisory group for The University of Texas System Chancellor. Founded almost 60 years ago, the CCEC includes supporters who represent the system’s 14 academic and health institutions.

This fall, Ryan Belock (Integrated Media MFA '15) joined the University of Missouri-Kansas City (UMKC) Conservatory as an Assistant Professor of Digital and Immersive Media, bringing with him a wealth of experience as a projection designer, digital storyteller, and creative director.

Stephanie Chiarello (B.A., Theatre and Dance, 1998; M.P.A., Public Affairs, 2008) is the creator, producer and host of Over the Lege, a political satire show based on the Texas Legislature, which returns for its seventh year with Over the Lege Part 7: The Last Laughs!! on Oct. 11-13 at the Scottish Rite Theater.
  
Chiarello describes the show as "a little Saturday Night Live meets The Daily Show meets So You Think You Can Dance." This year's special guests include State Representatives Goodwin, Flores and Howard; pastor Jim Rigby and Senator Wendy Davis.

Altin Sencalar (B.M., Jazz Performance, 2017) named Visiting Professor of Jazz Trombone at San Fransisco Conservatory of Music

Altin Sencalar was recently named Visiting Professor of Jazz Trombone at San Fransisco Conservatory of Music. As an active performer, Altin has shared the stage, toured, and/or recorded with DeeDee Bridgewater, Rodney Whitaker, Christian McBride, Michael Bublé, John Lee, The Dizzy All Stars Alumni Big Band, David Sanborn, Dafnis Prieto, Ulysses Owens Jr., The Temptations, The Four Tops, Martha Reeves, The Velvalletes, Ne-Yo, Big Sean and many others. He has also recorded for several motion pictures including Puss in Boots: The Last Wish, My Little Pony: The Movie (2017 release) and others independent films.

Altin has held teaching positions at Michigan State University, Brevard Jazz Institute, the Dr. Phillips Center for the Performing Arts Summer Jazz Intensive, Jazz & Creative Institute, Central Texas College and the University of Mary Hardin-Baylor.
