Lisa B. Thompson's African Stew to Premiere at Lorraine Hansberry Theatre

Following her acclaimed previous works The Black Feminist Guide to the Human Body and Single Black Female, Lisa B. Thompson's new play African Stew will is a satirical comedy that explores cultural differences, class and love in the Black Diaspora. Lorraine Hansberry Theatre will present the play's world premiere on September 10-27, 2026 in the Fort Mason Center for Arts & Culture.
