Arts Administration Fellowship Welcomes Nine Students

For the summer of 2026, Arts Administration Fellowship Program for the College of Fine Arts awarded nine new fellowships to students across the college. Together with the five continuing fellows, a total of fifteen students will expand their career opportunities through arts administration internship paired with co-curricular and cohort-building activities. The program began with a cohort convening on May 19, where fellows participated in professional communication workshop led by Syndey M. Westin from Career Services. Additional co-curricular activities include a workshop with staff from the Blanton Museum’s Education department, a walk-through and conversation with staff from Texas Performing Arts, and a finale dinner/presentation of the fellow’s projects and responsibilities at the end of the summer.

Kyla Antonio at Health Alliance for Austin Musicians 

 

Under the direct supervision of staff at the various arts organizations, the fellows will contribute to a range of projects, including museum education, curating specific programs, helping process archival collections, creating digital content, assisting with development and fundraising efforts, and assisting with marketing and communication strategies.
