Deering is the founder of Haven, and the co-founder of The Un.Incubator, a startup community focused on creatives who have dedicated their careers to impact. Deering has spent her career seated deliberately at the intersection between the fields of design, technology, marketing and writing. In her current leadership role at The Un.Incubator, she is intentionally gathering innovators from these fields to create the path and ecosystem needed for social entrepreneurs to thrive and create the change the world needs.

Designed to be highly interactive, these roundtable discussions bring outside thought leaders and experienced entrepreneurs from all disciplines to mentor and meet with students.

Pathways to Entrepreneurship

This monthly roundtable lunch series is presented by the College of Fine Arts and the School of Design and Creative Technologies as part of the Pathways to Entrepreneurship program. The event is open to all University of Texas at Austin students and faculty, as well as the wider community. Pathways to Entrepreneurship is more than a program—it’s a community that brings together like-minded entrepreneurs, creative students and faculty who want to change the world.
