Are you doing what you love? What are the pathways for turning your passion into a viable, sustainable business?

Entrepreneurs are not born. They’re made. The emergence of creative enterprises is one of the fastest growing sectors in the world. We want to prepare our students for this new economy, whether you use these skills to launch a business or just be more marketable in your career. Join us Feb 22 to kick off Pathways to Entrepreneurship, featuring two successful entrepreneurs with incredible stories, (and who just happen to be married.) Sam Decker and Shayna Brown represent very different tracks to success, one through technology, the other through artistic and creative talents.

These monthly gatherings are being designed as a community event, with food, and fun, and sharing of stories from student entrepreneur “cameos” to help create a new mindset about what’s possible, to empower and inspire creatives to turn their passion for arts and culture into viable, sustainable enterprises.

Brought to you by the College of Fine Arts and the School of Design and Creative Technologies, Pathways to Entrepreneurship includes a monthly speaker series and interactive roundtables throughout the semester that are open to all UT students and faculty.
