South Texas Theatre Auditions (STTA) provides colleges from across the U.S. an opportunity to scout exceptional talent from the Rio Grande Valley region of Texas. High school seniors and college transfer students who are seriously considering majoring in theatre in college will present monologues, musical theatre selections, technical theatre portfolios, or a teaching statement for the consideration of college admission representatives. The goal of this program is to increase a diverse presence within the theatre community, particularly from a Latinx cultural background.
You can submit an audition or presentation in any of the following areas:
- Acting
- Musical Theatre
- Design/Technology
- Theatre Education
