Many career pathways in the arts involve working for yourself, or becoming a freelancer. In this workshop students will discuss the basics of the world of freelance work, including responsibilities, write-offs, and what rights you have as a self-employed artist or performer. The basics of building a business plan will be covered, as well as additional resources available to you in Central Texas and nationally.
