(New Student Welcome)

The College of Fine Arts invites incoming freshmen and transfer students to attend Gone To Fine Arts, our annual new student welcome event.

Come by the E. William Doty Building (DFA), home of the newly-renovated student lounge, now named the Kendra Scott Center. You’ll meet your fellow new College of Fine Arts students and make unforgettable memories with activities like karaoke, Tiny Tails Petting Zoo, lawn games, a live DJ, and the making of the Class of 2025 Mural!

By attending the event you will be able to wear your free College of Fine Arts t-shirt and receive other back-to-school items specific to all new incoming College of Fine Arts undergraduates students. Come join us for cool contest prizes and the chance to meet our new dean.

Next, at 8 p.m., join our ritual college walk to the university-wide main event, Gone to Texas, wearing CoFA’s official new student t-shirt.
