Gay Gaddis (B.F.A., Studio Art, 1977) named a recipient of Texas Exes' 2022 Distinguished Alumnus Awards

Gaddis received four leadership awards this fall: the Texas Exes Distinguished Alumnus Award, the University of Texas' highest honor; the Austin Business Journal’s CEO Legacy Award; the Richard W. Weekley Public Policy Leadership Award from the Texas Leadership Council; and a Barbara Bush Legacy Humanitarian Award from the Latino Learning Center of Houston.

Altin Sencalar joins the Michael Bublé Big Band as a new member of the trombone section for the "Higher World Tour"

Sencalar (B.M., Jazz Studies, 2017) will be touring with Bublé starting in June of 2022. The big band will be traveling to the UK, North America including Canada, Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Australia, and Europe.
