Henry Smith (B.F.A., Studio Art, 2017) was named one of MASS Gallery's Hotbox resident artists, Aug. 7 to Sept. 9. The program features a series of multimedia installations and performances.

Carson Kreitzer named a MacDowell and Guggenheim Fellow

Carson Kreitzer (M.F.A., Playwriting, 2006) is a 2017 MacDowell Fellow and Guggenheim Fellow. Her musical LEMPICKA will have a workshop at Williamstown Theater Festival in August.
Jacqueline Hinton (B.F.A., Dance, 2001) will perform in the production Anaïs, A Dance Opera in Avignon, France on July 7-30, as part of the L’Off Festival.
Abe Koogler’s (M.F.A., Playwriting, 2014) latest play, Fulfillment Center, was reviewed by the New York Times, which described it as “finding poetry in missed connections.” The play runs off-Broadway through July 9.
Oliva Bransom opens tattoo studio

Oliva Bransom (B.F.A., Studio Art, 2012) recently opened Astral View Studios, a tattoo shop in Marble Falls. Her original artwork is on display in the shop, and she is the lead artist and owner.
