Zuniga (D.M.A., Double Bass Performance, 2015) has been appointed to a faculty position as Double Bass professor at the National University Panamá in Panamá. 

Luck (M.F.A., Theatre, 2011) is a musical theatre composer, singer-songwriter and educator. She's the focus of this week's "Tuning In" music spotlight.

Thw Bartlett Project would require artists who could work collaboratively, would respect the existing communities and stories of the town, and could navigate their practice within the complications of the pandemic lock downs. Laursen (B.F.A., Studio Art, 2015) was that person, and as an artist, she welcomed the challenges that flexibility required.

Following the release of Fears' (B.M., Music Performance, 2013) powerful new six-song EP, "Canopy," Jeff McCord from KUTX called it "intimate, intense and sublime." 

Additionally, the production received a 2021 Edgerton Foundation New Play Award, providing Lee (M.F.A., Playwriting, 2011) and the production team with additional funds to extend their rehearsal process. 

In this role, Sidey (B.M., Music Education, 2005) will be responsible for launching the inaugural Music Education Partnerships Grants program. This new funding opportunity is designed to support partnerships between community choruses and schools to increase access to choral music education and promote non-arts learning and cultural literacy, all while upholding the principles of access, diversity, equity, and inclusion.

Taylor (B.A., Woodwinds, 2000) is currently a PhD student at UT Tyler studying human resource development with a focus on the effects of gender bias on the workplace. The mission of the Pat Tillman Foundation is to unite and empower remarkable military veterans and spouses as the next generation of public and private sector leaders committed to service beyond self.

One of twelve playwrights to attend this multi-genred writing retreat, Stanley (M.F.A., Directing, 2020) will have the opportunity to work with a diverse faculty to hone their writing skills amongst fellow artists.

This three-year commitment comes with a world-premiere and reading of Gómez's (B.A., Theatre and Dance, 2013) work, as well as access to board and artistic department meetings.

Muñoz (B.M., Trumpet Performance, 2018) is one of the the 35 Black and Latinx music professionals who are pursuing or considering academic careers. The fellowship will prepare them with the skills, insights and networks to flourish professionally and influence generations of musicians.
