Gary is a visual arts graduate of The University of Texas at San Antonio, where he earned a Bachelor of Arts in Visual Arts. A proud U.S. Navy veteran, he brings valuable experience supporting college students through recruitment and admissions at UTSA’s School of Art and Music, guiding learners of all ages and backgrounds as they embarked upon their academic and professional journeys.
An artist at heart, Gary’s creative roots are in drawing, with a particular passion for ceramics — especially hand-building and sculpting. Outside of his work and artistic pursuits, he enjoys hiking, exploring national and state parks with his dog, and hitting the open road for new adventures.
