Ashley Rivera

Ashley Rivera (she/her) is the Department of Theatre and Dance, Senior Undergraduate Admissions Coordinator, responsible for coordinating the Theatre and Dance admissions processes. Ashley also manages the COFA Student Ambassador program and supports College of Fine Arts recruitment events. Originating from El Paso, Texas, Ashley attended the University of Texas at Austin earning her B.A. in Sociology and a Bridging Disciplines certificate in Culture and Identity studies. After graduating from UT, Ashley went on to work with youth in both residential settings and secondary schools. Later, as a college and career counselor, Ashley spent much of her time working with BIPOC and first-generation students on their path to higher education and careers. In addition to her work at COFA, Ashley is a singer/songwriter in the Austin area.
