Miranda Perkins

Miranda Perkins is the Outreach Program Coordinator and enjoys connecting with prospective students and contributing to COFA’s recruitment and outreach efforts. She is a graduate of the UTeach Theatre Education program with a background in performing, directing, and K-12 education. Before joining the College of Fine Arts Admissions team, Miranda taught middle school theatre in Pflugerville ISD, where she established a theatre program at a new campus and directed a variety of productions, including ensemble showcases, musicals, and UIL competition pieces. Miranda is passionate about arts education and is involved with The Hideout Theatre’s education department, supporting its youth initiatives and K-12 extracurricular programming. Sewing, billiards, and live theatre are also among Miranda’s passions.
