Michelle Cahill

Associate Academic Advisor, Arts and Entertainment Technologies

Michelle Cahill holds a B.A. in French Studies from Seattle University and an M.A. in Counseling from San Francisco State University. She has worked in a variety of roles across education and student support, with previous advising experience at San Francisco State University and Concordia University, St. Paul. After spending a few years exploring other fields, Michelle found herself continually drawn back to supporting students as they navigate college life and discover their own paths. Michelle has a supportive, friendly advising style and especially enjoys demystifying the degree audit!

With a longstanding interest in the arts, Michelle has previously volunteered with the Art Shanty Projects, an interactive, winter art festival held on a frozen lake in Minnesota. She enjoys swing dancing, spending time in nature, and dabbling in watercolor. A lifelong learner, she is currently teaching herself video editing and is excited to support students as they develop the creative and technical skills to tell compelling stories across physical and digital spaces.
