Jonathan Marshall's (BFA '03) exhibition at Grimm Gallery in Amsterdam gets a review in frieze Magazine. Read the complete article. 

Natalia Anciso, MFA (BA, Studio Art, 2008), will have a solo exhibition at San Francisco's Galeria de la Raza titled "Studio 24 Presents: Natalia Anciso." She will be the third artist in the "Studio 24 Presents" series, following in the footsteps of established artists, Rio Yanez and Viviana Paredes. In addition, her work will be featured prominently on Galería’s Bryant Street 10 ft. x 24 ft. billboard. Much of this exhibition will focus on her experiences as well as histories of her native Rio Grande Valley. The Opening Reception will be held on Saturday, November 16, 2013, at 7pm and will run until February 14, 2014.

Emily Ballew Neff, PhD (AAH, '97) appointed Director of Fred Jones Jr. Museum of Art at The University of Oklahoma.

Katrina Perry (B.F.A Studio Art, 2008) has a solo photography show, Recreating Recreation, opening at Deborah Berke Partners on November 6th, 6:30 - 8:30 p.m. and running until February 28th, 2014. 220 5th Avenue, New York, NY.

Raul De Lara (registered student, BFA, Design) was awarded first prize in the Austin portion of the Tequila Herradura competition to create art from the barrels that the company uses for its product. As a result, he received a $10,000 prize, and his work now goes to Miami where it will compete for a grand prize award of $100,000.

Alumnus Scott Marlowe (BFA, Dance 2004) stars as “Frankie” in the new film Test by Chris Mason Johnson. Test is the poignant, powerful story set in the San Francisco modern dance scene of 1985, in the early years of the AIDS epidemic. It will run October 20, 7:00 PM at the Stateside.
