I am pleased to highlight teacher education programs in the College of Fine Arts for students who want to pursue careers in fine arts education. It’s a rewarding, purposeful, even noble calling that shapes the future of our society. As the UT motto says, disciplina praesidium civitatis: the cultivated mind is the guardian of society.
Under the leadership of Associate Dean for Arts Education Hunter March, our teacher preparation programs encourage more of our talented Fine Arts majors to explore careers in teaching. I hope you’ll consider this invitation and begin by exploring the teacher preparation section of the web site.
