Art Education Professor Co-Edits New Book, Honored by Texas Art Education Association

Paul Bolin, assistant chair of the Department of Art and Art History’s Art Education Program, co-edited the book “Revitalizing History: Recognizing the Struggles, Lives and Achievements of African American and Women Art Educators.” Bolin and his co-editor Ami Kantawala were honored during a recent conference of the Texas Art Education Association.

‘Home, Memory, and Future,’ a three-part exhibition features work from Studio Art’s Nicole Awai

Work from Nicole Awai, assistant professor in studio art, is included in “Home, Memory and Future,” a three-part exhibition celebrating the 40th Anniversary of the Caribbean Cultural Center and African Diaspora Institute in New York. The exhibition explores the notion of home in the age of gentrification, dislocation, migration, exile, belonging, health and unaffordable housing.

Teresa Hubbard Presents Work in Multiple Exhibitions This Fall
