College hosts first Arts Summit

In October, Dean Ramón H. Rivera-Servera convened the college's first Arts Summit. This convening focused on Latinx Arts, as scholars and practitioners from across the country gathered to explore the state of Latinx art and how UT can best serve this community, especially with the university's designation as a Hispanic-Serving Institution. The college plans to continue this series of Arts Summits around the communities engaged and served by the college. Future summits will focus on Black arts, rural arts, arts and technology and more in the coming years. Photo by Cami Yates
