The College of Fine Arts is invested in ensuring that all its affiliated members feel that they are a part of the different endeavors taking place in our creative community and, to that end, we are activating the concept of Artistic Citizenship. That is, the concept encapsulates the idea that we are all part of an artistic ecosystem, either as makers, audiences, facilitators, and/or administrators. Working with this basic definition, we invite undergraduate and graduate student teams to help shape the contours of how CoFA can further the idea of Artistic Citizenship. Students will work in interdisciplinary teams to propose experience-based, community-engaged, and/or supplementary learning projects that advance their interpretation of Artistic Citizenship.
We invite you to the Artistic Citizenship Collaborative Creative Grant Launch designed to provide information on our interdisciplinary collaborative creative competition.
During the Launch / Mixer, students will have the opportunity to:
- Learn more how we are using the concept Artistic Citizenship
- The grant objectives and criteria for eligibility
- Network with fellow students interested in projects aligned with the grant goals
