Catharine Lysinger & Alex McDonald, piano duo

Catharine Lysinger is senior lecturer in piano and pedagogy at SMU's Meadows School of the Arts, where she is also the artistic director of the piano preparatory department. Alex McDonald has soloed with the Orquesta Sinfónica del Estado de Mexico, the Louisiana Philharmonic, the Fort Worth Symphony Orchestra and the Utah Symphony Orchestra, among others. They will play a program of virtuosic piano duo transcriptions of orchestral works.
