In this moderated conversation, Robert Faires, Arts Editor of the Austin Chronicle,and Jay Handelman, Arts Critic of the Sarasota Herald Tribune, will explore questions and pathways about careers in arts journalism and writing. If you’re wondering how to combine your creative talents with your love for writing, this talk is for you! Students will be given a chance to dialogue and engage with both of these professionals, deepening their understanding of the role of the critic in the modern artistic landscape.
