Director of Development for Major Gifts

Blake Turner is a Director of Development at the College of Fine Arts and a proud UT alum. He is a donor advisor who engages with alumni and donors across Texas and helps supporters invest in the people, programs, and places at UT. Blake received his BM in viola performance at Rice University and went on to receive his Master's in Chamber Music Performance at the Butler School of Music at UT Austin. While at UT, Blake was a founding member of the Cordova Quartet and performed across the world while studying under the Miró Quartet. An accomplished orchestral musician, he performs regularly as Assistant Principal Viola of the Austin Symphony. In his free time, Blake enjoys outdoor adventures, disc golf, and jam sessions with his family.
